DATA & ATTRIBUTION

Data Sources

Public-data inputs, caching practices and the distinction between third-party data and obsila-derived analytics.

Public beta documentation

Data philosophy

obsila is designed to transform public market, liquidity and network data into transparent research metrics. Where practical, calculations are performed from raw or minimally transformed source data rather than licensed proprietary indicators.

Data may be delayed, cached, revised, incomplete or temporarily unavailable. A displayed value should not be assumed to be executable market data.

Current sources

obsila calculationsRegression models, drawdowns, moving averages, volatility, risk and regime diagnostics.Calculated from cached source data

Caching

obsila intentionally favors reliability and low operating cost over high-frequency updates. Data is cached at the Cloudflare layer and may be reused across visitors. Slow-moving research charts do not require second-by-second updates.

Attribution and rights

Third-party data remains subject to the applicable provider terms and underlying rights. Inclusion on obsila does not imply ownership of third-party datasets. Before any commercial expansion, data-source licensing should be reviewed again against the intended use.

Corrections

If a source changes its methodology, endpoint, historical series or access policy, obsila may revise calculations or switch sources. Material methodology changes should be reflected in the Methodology page and model versioning.
